Erode is taking meaningful strides toward sustainable mobility. The Erode City Municipal Corporation, with support from the UK government, hosted a capacity-building workshop under the UK PACT initiative, implemented by ITDP India and the Council on Energy, Environment and Water. Bringing together multiple departments, the session highlighted people-centric street design, with a powerful GEDSI-based experiential walk that helped officials understand mobility challenges faced by various groups.
